The grid columns also provide a fluidity in displaying elements that breaks with the monotomy of convetional HTML grid use.

Romfarer Arkitekter

Romfarer Arkitekter is a well established Norwegian group of architects providing a pool of talents in many different areas. A new website was designed following their rebranding.

Beyond the horizontal grid

The design follows a rigid vertical grid using the base typeface size (the minimum value for a text). All elements are them rendered using scale proportional to that number. This allows every single element in the page to produce unparalleled vertical rhythm, beyond any conventional HTML grid sytem. A true grid system honouring the classic works of the Swiss graphic design movement and more important the attention to details that Romfarer Arkitekter have with their projects.
